Why Get Rowdy?

A Rowdy dumpster is the solution for built up debris and trash removal. When you need to clean up or clean out of a situation, let Rowdy charge to the rescue. Our rental roll-offs are fabricated steel workhorses, capable of handling household cleanout items and construction materials. If you’re tired of trudging to the local landfill over and over again, then it’s probably time to get rowdy!

Dimensions 15-yard dumpster, 14 feet long, 5 feet tall, 8 feet wide

15 Yard

The smallest of our containers, the 15-yard dumpster is perfect for light renovation jobs such as bathroom remodels or for cleaning up an overfilled garage. At 12 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 4 feet high, it won’t take up too much space on a driveway or curb, but still is large enough to handle a sizable amount of material.

Dimensions 20-yard dumpster, 14 feet long, 6 feet tall, 8 feet wide

20 Yard

The 20-yard container comes in at 22-feet long, 4 feet high, but still 8 feet wide. It’s suitable for kitchen remodels, shed cleanouts, and property and landscape projects. A great middle-ground for many different residential projects or for smaller commercial jobs.

Dimensions 30-yard dumpster, 22 feet long, 6 feet tall, 8 feet wide

30 Yard

If you’ve seen a roll-off container, it’s probably been a 30-yard. The most common dumpster on a jobsite, it measures out at 22 feet long, 6 feet high and the usual 8 feet wide. It can handle any commercial project or large residential remodel.

Dimensions 40-yard dumpster, 22 feet long, 8 feet tall, 8 feet wide

40 Yard

When you really need to do some serious demolition work or have an enormous amount of light material like insulation, then the 40-yard may be an option. At 8 feet high, 22 feet long and 8 feet wide, this is the largest of our containers.

Disposal Pitfalls

There are a few troublemakers in the waste disposal world. A rowdy container can handle a lot, but still there are some items and materials our dumpsters can’t accept. Any hazardous or specialized material, like asbestos or creosote is a no-go for a rowdy bin. Also, any appliances like refrigerators, washers, dryers, oven ranges or similar items are prohibited. Mattresses as well are not allowed inside our containers. Chemicals, industrial or household, also aren’t accepted for disposal. If you need some tips or guidance on getting rid of any of these items or materials, give us a call!

Tips for Your First Rowdy Rodeo

Don’t go into your first rodeo blindfolded. Let us offer some tips—the first of which is don’t weigh down a rowdy dumpster too much! Heavier items like shingles can’t completely fill the container. For compact materials like these it’s safer to fill to only around 2/3rds of the container. This keeps your container ready to be switched out or removed without issue. Also, while a Rowdy container can wrestle most material easily, we don’t accept any dirt or concrete materials for the safety of our dumpsters and trucks.

Getting Your Second Wind

If your rowdy roll-off is filling up and your pile of debris isn’t disappearing as fast, we can replace your dumpster with a fresh one. Most of our dumpsters come with a fill line near the top to show where to stop loading at. If you can see you’re getting close to filling a container and know you need another one, give us a call to schedule a switch out. We will get you on our route and another container out as soon as we can, but any lead time you can give us is helpful.

How To Handle a Rowdy Dumpster

Roll off Dumpsters aren’t without rules. Job sites may be messy but a Rowdy dumpster runs a tight ship. Make sure your dumpster is never loaded past the rim—if it is, we won’t be able to pick up your container. To stretch the tarp and secure your dumpster for removal, it’s essential no items are sticking up or mounding past the marked fill line, or worst case, the rim of the dumpster.

Don’t Corral a Rowdy Dumpster

There are a few potential issues to be aware of when renting a dumpster. Make sure you don’t have a locked gate that may obstruct delivery and that any special placement is clearly outlined with an orange cone, stake or similar item relayed to our team. If we try to deliver your container and are unable to access the site, a dry run fee may apply. Similarly, make sure no cars or other obstacles are blocking the container when you’ve scheduled it for a switch out or removal.

Preparing for a Rowdy Dumpster

Don’t get caught unaware when ordering a dumpster for your home or jobsite. Proper preparation is essential for any disposal project. Make sure you have a clear, open space for your dumpster. The best surface for a Rowdy Roll-Off to rest is concrete or gravel. A firm base ensures the container is less likely to become unretrievable due to a stuck truck or muddy quagmire around the dumpster. Usually it’s best a dumpster is dropped in a driveway or other easily accessible location. Our drivers are skilled, but any location information you can give us is useful for delivery.

Our dumpsters and the trucks they arrive on require about twelve feet width of clearance, possibly more if a sharp turn is required. Also important is having a level space. If you’re concerned about a steep gradient, then send us a picture for our opinion. Another concern is vertical clearance—make sure no hanging limbs or power lines are anywhere near where the dumpster would need to pass under.

Opening Up A Little or a Lot

No matter the size of your Rowdy Roll-Off, they all come equipped with a backdoor which can be opened for easier loading. No more tossing 4, 5 or 6 feet over the brim of your dumpster just because someone at the roll-off factory didn’t fabricate a latch! Rowdy has you covered—just pull back the pin on the rear of the dumpster and its door will open right up.

Also, don’t forget to call in for the removal of your Rowdy Roll-Off. Most of our containers come with rental time included, but we always require a call so we know when to wrangle back in your dumpster.
